Description:
Aclasta (Zoledronic Acid) 5mg/100ml infusion is a bisphosphonate medication used to treat a variety of bone diseases. It is primarily used to treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and men at increased risk of fractures, Paget's disease of bone, and to prevent skeletal-related events in patients with cancers involving the bone. Aclasta works by inhibiting the activity of osteoclasts, the cells responsible for bone resorption, thus leading to increased bone density and strength.
