Description: Apicort Eye Drop is a prescription ophthalmic solution designed to relieve inflammation and irritation of the eyes. It contains a corticosteroid to reduce redness, swelling, and discomfort caused by allergic reactions, conjunctivitis, or other inflammatory eye conditions. The dropper bottle ensures precise application and helps manage symptoms effectively.
Ingredients:
- Active Ingredient: Dexamethasone (0.1% w/v)
- Other Ingredients: Sodium chloride, sodium citrate, benzalkonium chloride, purified water.
Usage Instructions:
- Wash your hands thoroughly before using the eye drops.
- Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
- Hold the dropper above the eye, and squeeze gently to release one drop into the pocket.
- Close your eye and gently press on the inner corner of the eye for a few seconds to prevent the drop from draining away.
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surfaces, including your eye, to prevent contamination.
- Use as directed by your physician, typically 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) 3-4 times daily.
- If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it's almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
