Description:
Esbriet (pirfenidone) 801 mg film-coated tablets are used for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a progressive lung disease. It works by reducing fibrosis (scarring) in the lungs, thereby slowing down disease progression.
Ingredients: Active ingredient: Pirfenidone
Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, talc, and iron oxide red.
Usage Instructions:
- Take as directed by your healthcare provider.
- Typically, the dosage is 801 mg (3 tablets of 267 mg each) three times daily with food.
- Swallow the tablets whole; do not crush, chew, or break them.
- Follow specific instructions provided with the product.
