Description:
Menopur 1200IU is a fertility medication containing highly purified menotropins (human menopausal gonadotropins) for injection. It is used in assisted reproductive technology (ART) to stimulate the development of multiple follicles in women undergoing ovulation induction or controlled ovarian stimulation. The multidose format includes a pre-filled syringe for convenient and accurate dosing.
Ingredients:
- Active Ingredient: Menotropins (containing FSH and LH activity) 1200 IU
- Other Ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, Polysorbate 20, Sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, Sodium phosphate dibasic heptahydrate, Sodium hydroxide, and Hydrochloric acid.
Usage Instructions:
- Follow the dosing instructions provided by your healthcare provider.
- Typically administered subcutaneously once daily at the same time each day.
- Reconstitute the powder using the solvent in the pre-filled syringe as instructed.
- Rotate injection sites to avoid skin irritation.
- Dispose of needles and syringes properly in a sharps container.
