Myfortic 360 mg tablets are an immunosuppressive medication used to prevent organ rejection in patients who have received a kidney transplant. The tablets contain mycophenolic acid, which works by inhibiting the proliferation of T and B lymphocytes, thereby reducing the immune response that can lead to organ rejection.
Ingredients:
- Active Ingredient: Mycophenolic Acid (as Mycophenolate Sodium) 360 mg
- Inactive Ingredients: Hypromellose, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Povidone, and various coating materials.
Usage Instructions:
- Follow the dosing instructions provided by your healthcare provider.
- Typically, the dose is taken twice daily.
- Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet.
- It is best taken on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
