Description:
Onglyza 5mg tablets are used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The active ingredient, saxagliptin, is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that works by increasing insulin production and decreasing glucose production in the liver.

Ingredients:

• Active Ingredient: Saxagliptin (5 mg)
• Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, and iron oxide yellow.

Usage Instructions:

• Dosage: One tablet daily, or as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
• Frequency: Once a day.
• Special Considerations: Can be taken with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions regarding dosage and any potential adjustments.
