Description: Oselta is an antiviral medication used to treat and prevent influenza (flu) in adults and children. It helps to reduce the severity and duration of flu symptoms when taken shortly after symptoms begin. It is also effective in preventing the flu in individuals who have been exposed to the virus but have not yet developed symptoms.

Ingredients:

• Active Ingredient:
  • Oseltamivir phosphate (75 mg)
• Other Ingredients:
  • Croscarmellose sodium
  • Talc
  • Povidone
  • Sodium stearyl fumarate
  • Other excipients as needed for capsule formulation

Usage Instructions:

1. Take one capsule orally, with or without food. If nausea occurs, taking the medication with food may help.
2. For treatment of flu: Take one 75 mg capsule twice daily for 5 days, starting within 48 hours of the onset of symptoms.
3. For prevention of flu: Take one 75 mg capsule once daily for at least 10 days after exposure to the virus or as directed by your healthcare provider.
4. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew.
5. Follow the prescribed dosage and frequency as directed by your healthcare provider.
