Description: Rexulti (brexpiprazole) 2 mg is an atypical antipsychotic medication used to treat schizophrenia and as an adjunctive therapy for major depressive disorder (MDD). It helps manage symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, and mood disturbances by modulating the activity of certain neurotransmitters in the brain. Rexulti is designed to provide effective symptom relief with a favorable side effect profile.
Ingredients:
- Active Ingredient: Brexpiprazole (2 mg per tablet)
- Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, corn starch, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, talc, yellow iron oxide.
Usage Instructions:
- Take Rexulti exactly as prescribed by your physician.
- The usual starting dose for schizophrenia is 1 mg once daily, which may be increased to 2-4 mg once daily based on individual response.
- For MDD, the typical adjunctive dose is 0.5 mg to 1 mg once daily, which may be increased to 2 mg once daily.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food.
- Do not change your dose or stop taking Rexulti without consulting your doctor.
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
