Description: Simbrinza Eye Drop is a prescription medication used to lower intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It is a combination of two active ingredients that work together to reduce pressure inside the eye.
Ingredients:
- Brinzolamide (1% w/v) - a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor that reduces the production of fluid in the eye.
- Brimonidine tartrate (0.2% w/v) - an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that decreases the amount of fluid in the eye and also increases drainage.
Usage Instructions:
- Use Simbrinza Eye Drop exactly as prescribed by your ophthalmologist or healthcare provider.
- Typically, one drop is instilled into the affected eye(s) three times daily.
- Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and place the drop into the pouch formed by the lower eyelid.
- Close your eyes gently for 1-2 minutes to allow the medication to be absorbed.
- If you are using other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes before applying Simbrinza Eye Drop.
