Description
Xalacom Eye Drops are used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. The combination of two medications, latanoprost and timolol, provides effective pressure reduction by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor and decreasing its production.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients:
- Latanoprost 50 mcg/ml
- Timolol maleate 5 mg/ml
Other Ingredients:
- Benzalkonium chloride (preservative)
- Sodium chloride
- Sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate
- Disodium phosphate anhydrous
- Water for injection
Usage Instructions
Dosage:
- One drop in the affected eye(s) once daily.
Frequency:
- Administer in the evening, preferably at the same time each day.
Special Considerations:
- Wash hands thoroughly before use.
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.
- If using other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes between applications.
- Follow your doctor's instructions regarding duration of use.

Precautions

Storage Instructions

- After first opening, the bottle may be stored at room temperature (up to 25°C) for up to 6 weeks.
